DESCRIPTION:10am \nSandford church will be decorated for Christmas on Saturday 16 December between 10 am and 12 noon ahead of our Carol Service on 17 December\, with the flower arrangements being refreshed on Saturday 23 at 10 am ahead of our Christmas services. St Philip’s church will be decorated on Saturday 16th December between 10 am and 12 noon. \nWe do need help in decorating both churches for this significant festival in our church’s year\, so if you are free please do pop along and lend a hand for as long or short as you are able; and if there is no one to babysit\, bring your children along. SUMMARY:Jubilate Choir in Sandford Parish Church
DESCRIPTION:The Jubilate Choir\, directed by Amy Ryan\, will perform Dvorak’s Mass in D and Saint-Saens Oratorio de Noel in Sandford Church Ranelagh at 8pm on the 10th December. The choir comprises approximately 45 experienced choristers from all over Dublin\, and has performed regularly since it was founded in 2010. Its busy schedule has included performances by Mozart\, Britten\, Bach\, Haydn\, Mendelssohn\,and Brahms. For this performance the choir will be joined by Sylvia O’Brien\, soprano\, Clare McEvoy mezzo-soprano\, Victoria Massey alto\, Andrew Gavin tenor\, Eoghan Desmond bass and David Grealy organist. \nFor further information on the choir including sample videos of recent performances\, see www.jubilate.ie.  Tickets (€20) will be available at the door on the night.
