DESCRIPTION:9.30am/10am \nBoth Sandford and St Philip’s churches will be decorated for Christmas on Saturday 20 December from 9.30am in Sandford and 10am in St Philip’s. We do need help in decorating both churches for this significant festival in our church’s year\, so if you are free please do pop along and lend a hand for as long or short as you are able. No flower arranging skill is required. Refreshments will be provided! We would also very much welcome donations of flowers and greenery and some potted plants (e.g. cyclamen\, poinsettia etc.)

DESCRIPTION:11am \nWe are planning a fun Children’s Christmas Service on Sunday 21 December in  Sandford at 11am. The wearing of Christmas jumpers has now become a tradition at this service so please wear your most Christmassy jumper and maybe a Santa hat or Christmas boppers – whatever you have that is Christmassy (applies to all age groups!). \nWe are planning to have our annual Christmas drama during this service (see full details under Youth News)\, and we’ll have Christingles too. \nWe will continue to support children in need\, and so children are asked to bring gifts (wrapped) to this service\, to be given to children in need in Dublin (please mark the gift ref. gender/age).

DESCRIPTION:Sandmill Strollers is a walking group that meets once a month\, on the first Tuesday\, for leisurely walks and gentle exercise in good company. We usually meet at 1.30pm on Temple Road (parking is free from 1pm) to car share or maybe take the LUAS. We always have a coffee stop and aim to be back at St Philip’s around 4.30 to 5pm.  Everyone is welcome to join us\, and we would love to hear of suggestions for walks.
