Guidelines for photographs of art work
Please take the photograph directly in front of the work, not at an angle. Plain background is ok – it can help to define the edge of the art work and can be cropped before inclusion in the catalogue. Please include the frame, if present and avoid reflections on glass. Pictures from a smart phone are usually quite adequate.
