33rd Sandford Scout Group

We are thrilled to announce that we are reopening the historic 33rd Sandford Scout Group at St Philip’s Hall, starting with the Beaver Scout section for children aged 6 to 7. This is a fantastic opportunity for local children to make new friends, build confidence, and learn new skills.  However, to make this relaunch a success, we critically need volunteers.  Scouting relies entirely on community support, and we cannot run sessions or bring Scouting back to Sandford/St Philip’s without a dedicated volunteer team in place. Whether you can commit to helping regularly at weekly meetings, assist with behind-the-scenes administration, or lend a hand on occasional outings, every bit of help counts. No prior Scouting experience is necessary – full training and support are provided by the Scout Association.

We are holding a brief Information Evening to explain how the process works and discuss how you can get involved, on Wednesday 30 September at 7pm in St Philip’s Hall (D06AX71).  Come along to find out more and help us bring the 33rd Sandford back to life for our local youth!  For questions, more details, or to RSVP, please contact the Volunteer Team at 33rdsandfordscouts@gmail.com.
