Our parish choir has had an exceptionally busy year, from our trip to Westport last autumn, to our St Mark Passion in Limerick and Sandford, culminating in the weekend of events to celebrate Sandford 200 in June. After a very well-earned break the choir returns to rehearsals on Wednesday 16 September, though we’ve already had a little preliminary rehearsal to get ready for the Harvest Choral Evensong on Sunday 4 October, another celebration marking the milestone of Sandford’s bicentenary.
I am taking some time away in the autumn, and so in my absence rehearsals and services will be covered by a small team of deputies. I look forward to returning to full duties in time for Advent and Christmas. David O’Shea
