Our annual Summer Music at Sandford series concluded on Friday 26 August in spectacular fashion with a witty and entertaining piano duet recital by Jonathan Lycett and Stuart Nicholson, which completed a series of great musical variety and consistently high quality. Our thanks to all the performers, and also to those volunteers from the parish who gave up their time to ensure the smooth running of the series. Donations from the series have raised a sum of €2,185 towards the Sandford organ fund (which is a great result considering a % of the donations was given to the musicians who performed).
Much gratitude is due to David O’Shea for organising and coordinating the Summer Music series again this year. We’re looking forward to next year already!
