Sandford Church Organ: work progressing

The work on the organ in Sandford Church is progressing steadily, and within the last couple of weeks the old swell soundboard was removed to make way for the installation in March of the new one. Though less than half of the organ is playing at the moment, a number of the new stops that have been installed sound wonderful and have added much to the variety of tone and character of the organ. From this point onwards more and more stops will be available, and the majority of the organ will hopefully be playing by the end of April or so.
