Fundraising Concert, Sandford (9th November)

The Sandford Fundraising Committee, along with David O’Shea, organised a most wonderful concert held in Sandford Church on 9 November. The Culwick Choral Society under the direction of Bernie Sherlock kicked off the evening, followed by baritone Padraig O’Rourke and pianist Michael Grant. We were then treated to two soloist delights, Jack Kennedy on guitar and Jack O’Doherty on the tuba. Both Derek Moylan (piano) and David O’Shea (organ) took part, with David playing ‘The Skater’s Waltz’ (Emile Waldteufel) a throwback to the Rector’s wedding! It was a superb evening of musical entertainment, with all proceeds going to the church organ fund.
