Our last walk for 2017 will be along the Great South Wall from the carpark at the Shelley Banks. As usual we depart from St Philip’s Church at 1.30 pm on Tuesday 5 December. We have been remarkably lucky with the weather all year and completed the walks dry and usually with a refreshment stop at the end.
Our walks tended to take place alongside rivers, the sea or hills/mountains. Numbers may be small but that does not detract from enjoyment of being out in our beautiful countryside.
In 2018 we will meet on Tuesday 2 January to explore the UCD campus and to discuss the walks for the year. We try to include favourites as well as new walks, so if you have any ideas please do let us have your opinions.
