On Sunday 13 May we joined the group of Sandford and St Philip’s parishioners for a stroll through Dodder Park. The weather was beautiful, bright and sunny. It was a lovely way to spend a couple of hours chatting and joking. We started out at the car park of the Clonskeagh House walking along the riverbank, passing the rhinoceros at the Dropping Well pub. We enjoyed a great coffee and cake/pop and jellies picnic at Dartry Park and then with our legs recharged we walked back towards the Clonskeagh House.
Sometimes we don’t realise the simple beauty that’s right on our doorstep – we really should walk the Dodder more often! Many thanks to all involved in organising this event.
