Our Harvest Thanksgiving services will take place on Sunday 7 October at 10 am in Sandford and at 11.30 am in St Philip’s, at which the preacher will be The Ven. Gordon Linney, former Archdeacon of Dublin.
Our Children’s Harvest Thanksgiving Service will take place on Sunday 14 October at 11.30 am in St Philip’s Church.
Children are asked to bring gifts, which will be given to the Women’s Refuge Rathmines (non-perishable food items e.g. tea, sugar, pasta, soup, peas etc.) and to TRUST (caps, hats, scarves and gloves, fleeces/hoodies and tracksuits, rucksack/schoolbags, toiletries such as hairbrushes and combs, soap, shampoo, aerosol deodorants, shaving cream/gel and toothbrushes, tea, coffee, cup-a-soups, biscuits and small bars).
Both our churches will be decorated for Harvest on Saturday 6 October from 10 am. Please come along and help if you are free. If you shy away from flower arranging why not help with the fruit and vegetable arrangements? All donations of flowers, fruit, greenery and vegetables will be gratefully received. Please contact Romney Keane (Sandford) or Ruth Potterton (St Philip’s) for further details.
