Sandford Parish NS reopened to receive children on 1 September. As everyone knows, this didn’t just happen. Staff came in and assisted in the reconfiguring of classrooms as appropriate. I think if we never see a meter stick again we won’t mind. All staff are happy to be back and it is apparent that all children are too. There are lots of happy smiling faces evident in the building. Everyone is taking the necessary precautions when entering and leaving SPNS. My thanks to everyone involved in the reopening of the school. It is certainly a different environment. No (in-hall) assemblies and no extra-curricular activities are the obvious changes, but the list grows longer each day. As long as these changes help us to remain open, they are for the better.
