Service prepared and led by the Confirmation Class of 2022

On Sunday 29 May, the service in Sandford Church was prepared and led by the Confirmation Class of 2022, comprising Alex Bailey, Matthew Burns, Eoin Cooke, Lucia Goodall Turner, Millie Langford, Catherine Leahy, April Lyons, Evan Macken and Ivar McGrath. During the course of Confirmation preparation classes led by the Revd Canon Sonia Gyles, the group of young adults who were preparing for Confirmation were also working hard to prepare and lead a service in the church on the Sunday following their Confirmation in Christ Church Cathedral. They explored a number of themes together with Rev. Sonia including climate change, social justice, the challenges facing refugees in Ireland, and the challenges facing individuals with mental health issues.
