St Philip’s Table Quiz

The quiz took place on Thursday 27 February. The fun was mighty as evidenced by our collective smiles and loud laughter, and our brains were put through their paces (and on occasion, beyond!) with aplomb. The evening was excellently organized and run. It was evident that mega effort had been put into it by a lot of people. We were in skillful hands on the night. George, our question master, and a veritable army of skilled multi-taskers who smoothly handled everything from handing out/collecting questionnaire sheets, totting and cross-checking the scores, collecting monies, running the raffle with generous prizes, refreshments and lots more. Huge thanks to all involved. As always, the evening was noticeably welcoming of all-comers, whether parishioners or not. The more the merrier. Roll on next year’s edition when, hopefully, the hall will be jam packed once again! Brian and Fiona Maybury
