Sunday School

We had a great turnout from the joint parishes for our first ever outdoor Sunday School, held in June in the sunshine at the front of Sandford Church, and we were blessed with a beautiful day! Our theme was The Lost Sheep, and the children had great fun searching the trees and bushes to find our hidden sheep. Through the story, they learned that God knows, loves, and cares for each and every one of His flock, and that no one is ever forgotten. To finish the morning, the children enjoyed making their own fluffy sheep using cotton wool to take home as a reminder of God’s love and care for each of us. At time of going to print, we are planning for our September Sunday School gathering. Keep your eye on the Parish Weekly for our second Sunday School date this term, to take place in November/December. Sarah McGinley
