Helping Hands Campaign Thank you to all those who have come forward to offer their help over the past number of months for the Helping Hands initiative. If you need some additional help in running errands, there are lots of people in the parish who are willing to help you out so please don’t hesitate to contact me.
Facemasks Arising out of the Helping Hands initiative, Margaret Wynne and Romney Keane have kindly made some beautiful face masks to sell in aid of parish funds. See Parish News section for more details.
Craft Group We are exploring the interest in a ‘Virtual Craft Group’. See Parish News section for more details.
Walking Challenge Now that the days are getting a little bit brighter, we will be issuing a Walking Challenge for people of all ages to try out in the locality.
Brainteaser The latest brainteaser ‘Cryptic Book Titles’ proved extremely popular with people this time around. We received over 70 entries from all over the country and even more unexpectedly received a fantastic €133 in cash donations. We have decided to donate this money to the Irish Cancer Society. Congratulations to The Jones Family whose name was pulled out of the hat of correct entries and who will be receiving the €50 One4All voucher.
