We were blessed with good weather for the Spring Bazaar on Saturday 14 May. It was great to see everyone enjoying the beautiful church grounds once again. Although we did not serve a huge number of hot chocolates (it was too warm!) some parishioners did enjoy the chance to return to their childhood days. The toppings were especially popular, marshmallows and cream, with some children returning for marshmallows alone! Rachel was kept very busy beside us – her waffles were in much higher demand.
I was lucky to be able to chat with many parishioners whom I feel I had not seen in years. Next year if the weather is hot again we might try a cool drink instead of hot choc., but we look forward to more chats with everyone next Spring. Suzanne Lowe and Ryanne Stanley.
